Srila Prabhupada

Often people ask me what my relationship to Śrīla Prabhupāda is today. Although I am not 24/7 directing and managing the movement he began, his presence is intertwined with mine as the one who has effected the greatest changes in my life and who I speak to often. At times he has come to me to be active in helping him, as in the BBT legal case some years ago and more recently in some severe misunderstandings within ISKCON that have been bringing out the harshest aspects of how ordinary people relate. It remains to be seen if those involved will be open to my participation.

Like Kṛṣṇa, Prabhupāda's creative nature always expanded in ways that were meant to bring beauty and peace to a troubled world. I am ever grateful that he thought to engage me in his visions.
